As of this writing, Clayne Crawford has been married for over 15 years. Add to that starring in critically acclaimed film after critically acclaimed film, managing a ranch, and spending time with his large family — by any measure, that’s something worth celebrating and applauding.
I googled relationship statistics and while I won’t be posting them here (because googling data isn’t guaranteed to be scientific), let’s just say based on that data, it looks like we could all learn something from Crawford. While talking to him about his numerous new projects in the works, I had to ask him what his secret to relationship success was.
“Don’t put so much pressure on these events that stories, TV, and film have put so much emphasis on as these defining moments of love and commitment,” says Crawford, “I think it’s the everyday of making sure you make eye contact, letting them know you love them, do something kind for them. Don’t be selfish. That with consistency as opposed to I have to get something awesome for Valentine’s Day. Consistency of respect and letting them know you love them.”
