My Fave Finds of Fragrance Fest

Products reviewed in this article were either tested at the event or prior.

The 6th Annual Golden Pineapple Fragrance Festival is officially in the books and what an incredible event it was. The hype around the event was real and people are already talking about the 7th edition set for 2027. Contrary to what many expect, as host, I don’t get a lot of time to visit the other houses. Especially because I was running my own Arshan Persia booth. But I do make it a point to visit each booth once and try something from each house. These are my personal favorite finds from this year’s fragrance fest. Whether you got the opportunity to attend this year’s historic event or didn’t, you need to get your nose on these scents! Read till the end to find out about an upcoming fragrance giveaway.

Perfume inspired by David Lynch by Nose of Gatsby

Eau de Lynch by Nose of Gatsby

I love this fragrance. Bonus points because it’s inspired by David Lynch. Beyond my own love for it, this electrifying scent was nominated for this year’s Fragrance of the Year. It smells like a smoky electric charge.

Purchase Eau de Lynch

Perfume bottle of Ethereal Flame by 86 West.

Ethereal Flame by 86 West

Nominated for the Most Seductive Fragrance, I can see why. 86 West has won the category before with In10sive Lust, but this is a different kind of seduction. It’s fruity at the top, spicy in the mid, and then settles into a confident darkness.

Purchase Ethereal Flame

Coffee in Paris by Street Scent

I love a good coffee fragrance and with Street Scent’s Coffee in Paris they perfumed a phenomenal coffee scent. But it’s not just coffee, it’s the bakery and the city of Paris combined in one.

Purchase Coffee in Paris

Clove of Olde by Jensen Fragrances

As of this writing, this is the best clove fragrance I have ever smelled. There’s fruits and woods, but clove is the star and it wraps around everything in a distinct head turning way.

Midnight Lychee by d.grayi

Last year’s perfumer of the Year winner, James Nguyen, is continuously gracing us with his artistry with incredible release after incredible release. Midnight Lychee caught my nose in a way I can’t stop thinking about. It’s bright and fruity, grounded by d.grayi’s signature in such a way that it could shine day and night all year long.

Purchase Midnight Lychee

Hotteok perfume bottle by KST Scent

Hotteok by KST Scent

Both Hotteok and Banana Milk Coffee were nominated for Best Gourmand and both were highly talked about at fragrance fest. Thanks to KST Scent, I had the unique opportunity to eat actual hotteok and so seeing how phenomenally they captured this scent, I personally give the edge of Hotteok, but both are huge love for me.

Purchase Hotteok

The Chelsea Life perfume bottle by Punk and Dandy

The Chelsea Lift by Punk and Dandy

This is the first fragrance I had a chance to try just before the event started and it blew my mind. I really felt like I was in this room with the vinyl record under my nose. I love a fragrance that takes me places and Punk and Dandy did just that.

Purchase The Chelsea Lift

Oldest Pillar by Circle of Lim

Winner of the Golden Pineapple for Best Woody fragrance. With sandalwood and vanilly, Oldest Pillar is textured aged wood, soft smooth and welcoming.

Perfume bottle of Sexyouality by Pink MahogHany

SEXYÖUALITY by Pink Mahoghany

When it comes to reviews, I don’t like to speak in definitives like “best” or “greatest” because something else can always come along to challenge it. In this case, I feel comfortable taking that chance. Nobody does gourmands like Pink Mahoghany’s perfumer Chavalia. She has mastered the artform, and this multi-Golden Pineapple award winning fragrance is a testament to that mastery. Strawberries, coconuts, and figs are glazed with decadent chocolate and sparkling with champagne in this unforgettable fragrance

Purchase SEXYÖUALITY

Reposado by Maison Solis

My personal favorite fragrance from the house of Maison Solis, I wear this all the time. Fittingly, the Pinappos Influential Press honored this scent with the Golden Pineapple for Most Versatile Fragrance. With blood orange, peppercorn, cinnamon, and aged whiskey, Reposado is something I could just as easily see being a signature scent for someone and a special occasion scent for another. It’s truly versatile and special.

Purchase Reposado

Bottle of the Prince of Arshan Persia by Arshan Persia

The Prince of Arshan Persia by Arshan Persia

Of course, I have to talk about my own house. The Limited Edition Khoonasham made its return at Fragrance Fest and arguably stole the show, selling out within the first hour of the event. The other star of Fragrance Fest for me was my newest release – The Prince of Arshan Persia. Based on seduction rituals of Ancient Persia, this fragrance captured the hearts, minds, and noses of Fragrance Fest attendees.

Purchase The Prince of Arshan Persia

With more and more fragrance events popping up every year, Fragrance Fest stands apart as a true international fragrance community experience. We didn’t earn the nickname “the fragrance lover’s fragrance event” for nothing.

There’s some big things happening behind the scenes as we build towards Fragrance Fest 7. So big we thought we’d expand the Fragrance Fest experience by doing some fragrance giveaways. Entry into the giveaway is free. The first giveaway starts next week. To increase your chances to win, share this article on Instagram and tag @fragrance_fest.

We’ll see you next week to announce what fragrance we’re giving away and how you have a chance to win it!
