According to Team Pinappos, unicorns are always in. Ever since we started the Bang Energy Drink taste test, we’ve been looking forward to the day we would get to review Rainbow Unicorn. Combine our love of unicorns with an energy drink brand known for it’s great flavors and our anticipation was high for this one.
So how magical does Bang’s Rainbow Unicorn taste? Not too magical. Upon first sip we momentarily thought we accidentally poured ourselves some Star Blast. Before we had a chance to make sure we didn’t make a mistake, some tropical flavored nuances started to caress our taste buds. When you work at an awesome company named Pinappos, you’re naturally drawn to tropical experiences. Excitement built up for a tropical twist on Star Blast, but sadly it fell flat. It’s not a bad tasting drink but candied raspberry with a tropical twist is far from magical and barely even that special.
When it comes to Bang Energy Drink’s Rainbow Unicorn, we enjoyed it while we had it and we’d be open to trying it again someday, but it’s not something we would seek out when Bang has so many other great flavors to choose from.
